Addinsight connects with hardware vendors and clients at ITS Australia Global Summit 2023

Addinsight joined world leaders in transport innovation at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre last week for the ITS Australia Global Summit 2023, connecting with hardware vendors and clients alike.

With the theme of exploring new ways to leverage technology to help accelerate smarter, safer, and sustainable transport in mind, the Addinsight team showcased a recently released protocol in the Addinsight platform that provides a groundbreaking plug-and-play device model.

“Summit 2023 was a great launching pad for Addinsight’s Device Protocol v3 which is simplifying the ability to monitor and manage multiple device types through one platform,” Paul Markwick, Head of Addinsight said.

“This landmark new device protocol enables customers and hardware vendors to innovate quicker on the Addinsight platform, opening a vast array of additional capabilities that further unlock data capabilities and increase real-time visibility across transport networks” he said.

Development is currently underway that enables a wider range of devices and data sources to be supported, as well as making the system connections more secure and scalable.

The team also had some great discussions surrounding our newly launched Addinsight Partner program, which provides members with access to the device sandbox, allowing them to test against a live system, as well as providing greater support and technical guidance for integration.

“We’re excited to launch our new Partner program where we’ve committed to working closer with hardware vendors to ensure they have the support needed to deliver quality and innovative Addinsight integrations,” said James Cox, Product Manager for Addinsight.

We hope to see you soon!

The Addinsight team thoroughly enjoyed the four-day event, engaging in highly productive conversations with other world-wide leaders in transport innovation and traffic management.

Engaging with attendees from diverse backgrounds, including government officials, industry experts, and thought leaders, the exciting budding relationships that were formed during our brief time under the same roof will help pave the way for future innovations.

If we missed you at this event, we hope you can make it to the ITS Australia Adelaide ITS Business Networking Event
