Addinsight is now under the ownership of its founders and long-standing technical leaders James Cox and Jonathon Rossi through a management buyout effective 1 July 2026. James and Jonathon will own and operate Addinsight as an independent business, continuing to trade under the Addinsight name.
Who are the new owners? James Cox and Jonathon Rossi - the technical leaders who have been central to Addinsight since its origins with the South Australian Department for Infrastructure and Transport in 2012, through SAGE's acquisition in 2021, and now as owners.
When does the transaction take effect? 1 July 2026.
What happens to existing Addinsight customers? Existing contracts, support arrangements and roadmap commitments continue uninterrupted under Addinsight's new ownership.
What is the ongoing relationship between SAGE and Addinsight? SAGE will be Addinsight's Strategic Integration Partner. SAGE Edge devices will continue to integrate with the Addinsight platform, ensuring customers benefit from the combined capability of both organisations.
What happens to the existing team members involved in Addinsight? All team members will continue to be employed by Addinsight Pty Ltd, ensuring complete continuity of expertise.
Will the Addinsight platform, brand or technology change? No. The platform continues under the Addinsight name, with the same team, technology and roadmap.
